Terms of Use
Effective June 7, 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms govern your use of the Mnemar website at www.mnemar.com (the “Site”). The Mnemar software is governed separately by its open-source license, described below.
1. The website
The Site provides information about Mnemar, open-source website analytics software. The content is offered for general information on an “as is” basis. We may change, add, or remove content at any time without notice.
2. The software license
The Mnemar software is open source and distributed under the MIT License. Your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software are defined by that license, which travels with the source code at github.com/Aplexica/mnemar. The MIT License includes an important disclaimer:
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
3. Self-hosting responsibilities
When you deploy Mnemar, you operate your own instance. You are solely responsible for your deployment, for the data you choose to collect, and for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to you and your visitors.
4. Trademarks
“Mnemar” and the Mnemar logo are marks of the project. The MIT License grants rights to the software; it does not grant rights to use the project’s name or logo in a way that implies endorsement.
5. External links
The Site links to third-party sites such as GitHub. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites; your use of them is subject to their own terms.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided without warranties of any kind, and the maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or the software.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
